Kirabelle Frabotta is a sultry swing jazz vocalist influenced by the greats: Ella Fitzgerald, Peggy Lee, Mel Torme, Billy Holiday, Sarah Vaughn, Doris Day, Jo Stafford, Blossom Deary and Anita O'Day.  She is also a singer/songwriter with a range of musical compositions influenced by contemporary folk, pop, and Jazz artists the likes of Joni Mitchell, Ricki Lee Jones, Alicia Keys, Norah Jones, Carol King, Dolly Parton, And Loretta Lynn. Kirabelle's rich vocals display a fine sense of pitch and humor, intonation and elegance. Her clean soprano top is balanced by a smooth mezzo/alto sweetness along with her natural ability to scat like Louis Armstrong and Ella Fitzgerald.  She has an ear for musical harmony, pure jazz tonality, and natural phrasing which is evident in her live performances

She has worked with Many of Detroit's Talented musicians including Saxophonist, Raphael Statin at the Detroit International Jazz Festival, Mike Jellick on keys, Detroit's own swing guitar legend, Rob Bourassa and cello master, Mike Karoub, of the Royal Garden Trio, along with many others.  She's performed in Symphony "pops" concert, opened for Ben Sharkey at Cliff Bells,  performed on local television stations, as well as Headlining at the Ford Arts, Beats, and Eats Festival in Royal Oak, Mi adding to that, Special Guest appearances around Detroit. She is a regular to sit in as a vocalist at Northern Lights Lounge and  has performed at various jazz clubs around Detroit, most notably, Cliff Bells, The Polish Mission, The Rust Belt Market, and The BlackHawk Grille in Kalamazoo.

Kirabelle is a diverse vocalist, her fresh style and truthful presence is evident in her performance onstage, in front of the camera, or singing live. She plays a variety of  instruments - fiddle, guitar, piano, ukulele, Melodica, celtic flute and low whistles, mandolin, and autoharp.

As a singer / songwriter on piano, guitar, and ukulele, Kirabelle's original compositions take on a timeless feel and her ear for creating new arrangements of familiar and less familiar standards and pop songs is her specialty.  Kirabelle's next step is working to get her music out there... and to that end, has since recorded some of her compositions and covers, playing all the instruments as well as multitracking her voice for demos.

In addition, Kirabelle has performed a variety of music - Renaissance Madrigals, Italian Arias, A Capella, vocal ensembles, Folk, and Musical Theatre.  She has also been a working actress, choreographer, dancer within the Detroit area as well as a regular featured soprano with The Greenfield Singers and The Village Trio at Greenfield Village, part of The Henry Ford.
